Mt. Vernon HomeTown Pharmacy was formed when McShane Drug Co., formerly located at 1319 South Landrum, and Mt. Vernon Professional Pharmacy, formerly located at 104 East Mt. Vernon Boulevard, combined under one roof at 606 East Mt. Vernon Boulevard. Mt. Vernon Professional Pharmacy, Davin and Gail’s first pharmacy, was originated and opened in 1997. The Vaughn’s purchased McShane Drug on July 1st, 2002 from Dave Eden. Today, Mt. Vernon HomeTown Pharmacy, at its existing location, offers more services and better parking as well as easier access for all patients.
